You run a freighter across four sectors to the Frontier. The Wave is behind you and it does not stop, so neither can you.

Combat is real time, and space stops when you hit pause. Power is short: two bars in shields is one layer, and the layer you want comes out of your guns. Fire spreads room to room until you shut a door — or open an airlock and let the vacuum take it. Boarders start coming aboard from the second sector. Crew learn on the job: a hand who has welded enough seams welds them faster.

The sector fights its own war

Two factions hold the beacons and take them from each other while you fly. Prices follow the front: the same crate is cheap on a Freemen beacon and dear on a Corporation one, and a beacon cut off from its own side is a payday. Who meets you in the dark depends on whose space you are in. Break enough of their hulls and their patrols stop hailing you first.

Six hulls, and you unlock them by doing things

Cross a sector without a single fight and the Cutter opens. Take three ships by boarding and you get the Launch. Break the flagship and you get its hull — which eats rations for six and costs double to repair. Each hull has its own deck, laid out along its own hull line, and what the deck has no room for you simply cannot install.

A run is about an hour. Progress between runs is kept in your browser. English and Russian — pick your language on the first screen.
